I like to get straight to the point, and I hate walking around bushes, or beating around them, for that matter. So, I will cut to the chase! My name is Katie Lawless and I just graduated from Wyoming Catholic College, and my greatest aspiration is to become and continue to aspiring to be a radically Catholic woman. (Should you have overwhelming, or immediate concerns at this point, take a breath, hold it... and please be assured that this will be described and explained in greater detail at a further date.)
This blog was inspired, oddly enough, by a ridiculous article. I because so irritated about the content of short article that I immediately started jotting down some thoughts, and arguments refuting the claims made therein. While I have not published my thoughts yet on that specific article, it dawned on me that there is a great need in our world today for good, energetic, and interesting writers. It was through this mind-blowing discovery that I decided I would try out journaling. And what better way than to start blogging, right?
I hope that this humble little venue of my thoughts, passion, and love of life becomes a suitable place for edifying discussion, information, and sustenance for the intellect. Please feel free to give me your opinion and feedback on any posts if you feel so inclined.
The title, perhaps speaks for itself, but I thought it might be helpful to have a little background story. I took a long time picking it out - which may be a surprise since it's a simple, catchy one - and still had some hesitations about choosing this one. It is meant to embody a sense of conversation and leisure after the work day, which, to be sure, is what we all truly crave after a long day.
So there you have it! Short and Sweet. I hope that you all enjoy my posts and keep in touch with thoughts and discussion. (Oh, and don't forget to let that breath out...)
